WWMS Mindful Monday
Description
We are excited to announce that Mindful Mondays are back!! Every Monday morning from 7:30am-7:50am, students can stop in the Sensory Room (C-2) and join Ms. Leal in practicing mindfulness-based activities that are aimed to kickstart and set a positive tone for their school week.
Some of the activities students can expect include Mindful Breathing, Body Scan Meditation, Simple Yoga, Grounding Techniques, Mindful Journaling and much more!! Our goal is to provide a fun, calming and safe space for students to calm the mind and body so that they are ready and focused for their week! If you have any questions about Mindful Mondays, please reach out to Ms. Leal, our L-Z Social Worker, or students can visit the guidance department for more information.
